About

JAG was born and raised in Bicol and grew up in the city fondly called as HAPPY PLACE (Maogmang Lugar).  She moved to the concrete jungle of Manila in 2005 to pursue a career in the corporate world.  One may even conclude she is a hag of a workaholic.

Outside her professional life, she has maintained her nerdcore,  fangirling to shows like LOST, Community,  and SUITS to name a few.  A pop culture enthusiast, a bit of a marketing maverick for (Shoeology) and also a recovering Incubus groupie.

Though, she has not yet own a single cat, she is very much available in the dating market (No, this is not an explicit or overt admission of her singlehood).

Writing (Blogging) is one of her many counter-productive hobbies (yep, half-glass full girl).  She has been blogging since 2005 and have recently resurrected her wordpress account when her online journal shutdown its free hosting services. She may or may not be a cheapskate that way.  She has connected and met some awesome people through her blogging as she claims to have a social life, to which we beg to differ.

Trivia: She called this personal space as ”Off the Cube” which means being off  the four corners of your office cubicle.  In the near plausible future, she dreams of pursuing writing full time.  🙂

P.S. This blog does not contain the opinion of her previous nor current employers unless otherwise stated. All materials are original and are from the author unless sited. Content which will be sited will be duly acknowledged

  1. You are my 1000th follower. Thank you.

I’m a big fan of Lost. I would’ve watched it one DVD season at a time, but I choose to watch it like one disc (3-4) a month. Yup! I anticipate what’s going to happen. I like my thinking time to be ruled by Lost.
Funny, my wait is finally over. I’m currently on the very final episode. And I c9ouldn’t say goodbye. Actually, this rented DVD won’t play. Hehe. Again, I am left wondering.

    • Thanks Rommel and welcome! I have to say that LOST’s “META” factor made me hooked ever since I saw the pilot. From then on it’s like a rollercoaster ride. I’m glad that you’re also still watching. LOST fans came and went for some reason but now that you’re in the end, brace yourself. I don’t really want to spoil you. Let me know once you’re done with the finale. Would love to hear your thoughts on it.

      As they say, NAMASTE!

ETA: Since I’ve the 1000th, do we celebrate with virtual drinks? Cheers!

      • The pilot is epic. The best pilot in TV history. I didnt know anything about it prior. At the time, it was oh so good, I speculated that it was a movie. And my TV, back then, didnt get any channel. I dont know what made me turn it on. It was a very very sweet find.

  2. Agree. It was epic indeed. Way back, I was just watching it through AXN and there were times when I wished that its Thursday already, I just couldn’t wait for the next episode to air. But I still did by best to veer away from the spoilers. That’s how hooked I was. Who’s your favorite LOST character?

    • HEY!!!!! Long-time. Yes, I have relocated! I’ve checked your previous site but I wasn’t sure if it’s still up.

ETA: I’ll link your tumblr site if it’s okay with you! 🙂
